Fisher Management was established
in 1990 to manage and supervise property from
the Looe office, covering a 15 mile radius including
Saltash, Liskeard and Polperro.
Letting Procedure
When we have shown you personally
over a property which you would like to rent,
we ask you to complete a form for referencing
purposes and an administration fee for providing
tenancy agreements and putting the utilities
into your name. Upon taking the property we
will require one month's rent in advance and
one month's rent as a deposit. In the event
that a Landlord will allow pets, we ask for
a double deposit.
The property will be let for a
minimum period of six months on an Assured Shorthold
Tenancy. If both Landlord and Tenant are happy
we can extend the Tenancy for another six months.
The rent is usually exclusive
of all utilities, eg gas, electric, water, Council
Tax, telephone but the Landlord is responsible
for the maintenance and upkeep of the property,
with the exception of the gardening and window
cleaning. Please bear in mind that the majority
of our properties are unfurnished and any items
introduced to the property by the Tenant are
the Tenant's responsibility. The Tenant is responsible
for insuring his own items. If you have any
problems in this matter, then we can soon arrange
insurance for you.
At the end of the Tenancy we will
refund the deposit, assuming that the property
is handed back in the same condition as when
the Tenancy started, and we have seen paid final
utility bills.
